The Five-Minute Weekly Routine Every Parent Should Have

May 8, 2026 · 4 min · parent dashboard · weekly study check · parents

You don't need to remember high school chemistry to support your child's studies. You need a five-minute weekly routine.

The routine

  1. Sunday night, 5 minutes. Open the Parent dashboard.
  2. Read the AI-written recap. It tells you what your child worked on, what they got stuck on, and one suggestion for next week.
  3. Pick one of the three dinner-table questions the recap suggests. Ask it during dinner this week. That is it.

Why this works

Two things happen.

First, your child knows you know what they are studying. That is enough to make them more accountable, without you having to nag.

Second, the dinner-table question reinforces what they learned. The act of explaining it to a parent locks the memory in better than rereading.

What if the recap is empty?

Empty recap = your child is not using the app. That is information. Have a non-confrontational conversation about it.

When to escalate

The recap can flag patterns: too many late submissions, dropping quiz scores, repeated topics that keep coming back. If you see those, that is the moment to talk to the teacher — not before.
