AI Help for Spanish: From Verb Tables to Real Sentences

Spanish is a forgiving language. You can be slightly wrong and still be understood. That is exactly why students plateau — they speak well enough to function but never push for the next level.

AI is good at the deliberate-practice push.

Three habits that work

1. One sentence a day, written by you, then reviewed. Use Essay Coach → "Improve my draft" with your single sentence. The AI suggests sharper vocabulary or a better tense.
2. Ten flashcards a week from your reading. Use Flashcards. Spanish vocabulary is huge but the high-frequency 2,000 words cover most of what you read.
3. Subjunctive practice every Sunday. It is the topic that separates B from A grades. Drill it in Mock Exam until the triggers are automatic.

The "ser" vs "estar" trap

If a student is going to lose marks somewhere, it is here. Quick rule: ser for permanent identity, estar for temporary state or location. Make a flashcard with five examples and review it for one minute every day until it is muscle memory.
